Parking available at 3 locations. Free for Blue Heron Cruise Guests.

Tobermory downtown has PAID parking. Paid parking is in effect between May 15 & October 15th in Tobermory. $3 per hour fee in the 2 hour restricted parking areas;
$15 daily flat fee in non-restricted parking areas
Tobermory Parking Paid parking is in effect in downtown Tobermory and most adjacent streets from May 15th to September 15th.
Most locations have a maximum 3 hour time limit.
All day paid parking is available on Legion Street off Hay Bay Road.

Blue Heron Cruises Parking
The Blue Heron Company provides FREE parking to our customers at multiple locations in Tobermory. A valid Blue Heron Cruises permit must be displayed. This permit will be provided by our sales staff when you purchase / collect your tickets. Permits are valid for the duration of your cruise and for one hour prior to your departure time and one hour after your cruise returns. Customers may park in designated parking spots only and must cooperate fully with Blue Heron Company staff supervising our parking areas.
Parking is not guaranteed and is allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Flowerpot Island is part of Fathom Five National Marine Park. Every person visiting Flowerpot Island must have a valid entry pass to do so.

Flowerpot Island

Flowerpot Island is part of the Fathom Five National Marine Park and is famous for the two rock pillars, or sea stacks, on its eastern shoreline. There are 4.3 kilometers of walking trails and miles of pristine, limestone shoreline – perfect for picnicking, sunbathing and swimming. Our Jet Boats or Glass Bottom Boat Tours will set you down at Beachy Cove if you opt to do some exploring. Alternatively, you can choose a scenic stay aboard cruise and simply take in all the highlights from the ship.

Parks Canada Visitor's Centre

Located in the village of Tobermory, the Parks Canada Visitor Centre is open daily from early May to late October. Their knowledgeable team provides detailed information about the two National Parks. There is also an excellent exhibit hall that is a must-see for all who want to understand how Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula earned its UNESCO World Biosphere designation. Take time, as well, to climb the observation tower for a stunning view of the islands off the coast.

Singing Sands

Located on the Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula, about 8 kilometers south of Tobermory, Singing Sands offers trails through a delicate ecosystem first protected by the Federation of Ontario Naturalists. It is home to rare plants including the delicate northern Calypso Orchid and several species of frogs, snakes, salamanders, and turtles. It is also a very popular, family-friendly swimming location with the longest sandy beach on the upper peninsula.

This non-stop glass bottom tour, as well as the drop off tour, begins with a visit to Tobermory’s other harbour, marked by Big Tub Lighthouse, where you will view the shipwreck "The Sweepstake"

What To Bring with you on your trip

Tobermory is located at the northern end of the Bruce Peninsula, which is known for its hiking trails. The terrain can be rugged, so you should wear appropriate footwear. You can also visit a Visitor Information Centre to get up-to-date information about the area.
